SIRC attended the Africa Pharmaceutical Summit     Feb.28,2016     SIRC as the top research institutes of TCM, together with the Zhejiang CONLER ltd attended the Africa Pharmaceutical Summit and the exhibition from 24th to 25th FEB. As the only TCM research institute, we have received attention allover during the summit. Africa has a huge population of 900 million and most of the countries can only produce antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs, thus they are import relied on. China mainly exports APIs to Africa, however, medicine preparation exports soared, especially the antibiotics and anti-infective. By 2020, the sales forecast of medicine in Africa could reach 40 billion US dollars and its， annual growth rate could reach 10.6 percentage, faster than Latin America, second only to the 12.5 percentage in Asia.     The APS concept integrates three elements – Exhibition, Summit and Partnering – into a single platform for developing business leads, forging strategic alliances and enhancing multi-stakeholder cooperation to provide added momentum to progress on issues relating to pharmaceutical sector development in this fast growing region of the world.     Preminister Li Keqiang proposed "Prompting the developments of TCM and national pharmaceutical industry" in his annual work report this year, which has aroused spreading discussion.     SIRC as a leader of TCM research institute, following the national strategy of “going out”, following the trend of modernization of Chinese medicine, actively participates in international division of labor；With the mission of “TCM originated, modern medicine orientated”, SIRC will endeavored in the well-being of people around the world.
